Well, I did something I have been looking forward to since I first saw these shoes available! I ordered a pair! The shoes are the KR-Strikeforce TPC Red SE (special edition). They came today! Previously Owned or Used …..

used bowling balls As it has been noted on the splash screen we do have previously owned / used bowling balls. Most of the balls have limited games. Or are from pro shop programs with the ball manufacturers. The balls are finished to 1800 grit or finer. No plugging has been performed. Where finger grips are loose they have been removed. The interchangable thumb insert receivers have been left in place. These thumb inserts are either Turbo Switch Grip or Vise IT units. If you want the holes plugged please select that option from the Shop Services section of the

Every Now and Then …..

Yep, this is a post of something that happens to PSOs’ ! It is one of those things you kind of wonder if it will happen. You know like when you are asked if you can get a ball that has not been in production for 40 years! Or shoes for a size 16 foot! In both cases the reply always is “I’ll look and see”. But you either cannot find the item or it will take six months to get it – I had that happen once for a size 15 shoe! Well this blog is not about either

To UPS or NOT UPS

RECENTLY there was a problem with a UPS shippment made to a customer in Southern California. The crux of it is, the delivery truck was hi-jacked and all the content was lost. The customer contacted me to let me know and to have a new shippment of materials sent to them. I shipped out the replacement materials and placed a claim against the lost items – I PURCHASED INSURANCE TO COVER THE COST OF THE SHIPPED MATERIALS TO BOOT. After several emails with the company I use for shipping I received a check from UPS for a FRACTION of the cost of the

Track Old School Disconntinued Bowling Balls

I have received a few questions regarding the Track balls made back a few years ago. The question is typically; “…. what does the “c”, “t” and “a” stand for in the ball ID name?” At that time of the manufacturing, there were a lot of questions regarding the various manufacturers cover stock (the outer shell of the ball). What could the bowler expect? What would have a strong reaction and what would not? Pretty simple question with a ton of answers! For the most part, most pro shop operators would reach out to manufacturers’ reps or take a look

“SUPPLY CHAIN”

I’m sure most of you have heard the term “Supply Chain”. It has become the new buzz word and  it is affecting anything that relies upon materials for manufacture and delivery. To no surprise, it is affecting the bowling industry. For pro shops is has changed product availability and delivery timing. And this is where “Supply Chain” impacts us all. If you are not aware there is a shortage of truck drivers. There is a shortage of loading doc workers at coastal points of entry. All of this makes for added shipping costs and unknown timing for some equipment deliveries.
