PSX – Ball Plugging

All bolwing ball plugging meets or exceeds the USBC standards. PSX uses urethane ball plug material in conjunction with name brand color dyes. We strive to match the ball color as much as we can. If you choose to have another color please let us know.

We surface all bowling balls after we have cut the excess ball plug. This is performed at no additional charge. We use a 1600 grid finish. For specific finishes will be charge a minium of a single surfacing pass.

It is important to understand, plugging a bowling ball voids any warrantiew which may be present at the time of the plugging the ball – you need to verify if your ball is still under warranty. The static dynamic values of the ball will be different. Plugging does not restore those values. This is primarly because most ball drilling cuts into the bowling ball weight block. The block is made of a different material than the filler (if a three piece ball) and the cover stock or shell of the ball. Therefore, do not expect the static values of the ball to be the same after plugging. For the majority of bowlers this is not a critical issue.
